Three months old!

Ryan turned three months old this past weekend, so we dressed him up in the Hayes' sweats that all the boys wore at three months old! Our little boy has changed so much since he was first born!

Apply to Medical School: Check!

We finally finished applying to medical school! YAY! I say we because poor Jake had to put up with me editing all of the writing on his AMCAS application over the last couple of weeks, and I can be somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes to this sort of thing. Anyway, we finally finished them. Now, all we can do is wait to see which schools want him to fill out a secondary application, which will hopefully lead to an interview and possible acceptance.

11. University of Washington School of Medicine; Seattle, Washington
12. Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine; Richmond, Virginia

It's fun to think that we could be living in any of these places next year. We'll be sure to keep you posted on the ongoing application process. Wish us luck!

We bought an apartment!

We bought an apartment today!! YAY!!! We've been looking for a good apartment ever since we got engaged, so it feels so good to finally have one that we love! I'll be moving in December 1 to get it all ready for us for when we come back from our honeymoon. We're so excited!!
